Point Break Music Festival took place for the first time on the shores of Virginia Beach, Virginia. The festival called for reggae lovers from near and far to participate in two days of music, food and good vibes. Twenty four artists performed throughout the duration of the festival on two stages — with no overlaps. Headliners included Wiz Khalifa, Rebelution, Sublime (with original band members Eric Wilson and Bud Gaugh, featuring Jakob Nowell), Stephen Marley and Steel Pulse. This is one of the first major festivals to hit the sand of Virginia Beach, and help put the Hampton Roads area of Virginia on the map.

Q: What was the inspiration for your outfit today?

A: It was fun — to just have fun. I wanted to stand out. When people see me, they’re smiling, and happy, and I just love all of that!

Q: What does this festival mean to you?

A: Music is my life. I don't know how to explain it, but my chest explodes when I’m around things like this, so that's why I’m here. It’s my little getaway.
